Lyla’s Power Wheelchair

One of this year’s grant recipients is Lyla, a high school student at Pleasant Valley High School in Iowa. She has with a rare mitochondrial disease which and needs to conserve energy for essential activities, which led to her needing the motorized chair. Happy Joe’ Kids Foundation is pleased to provide Lyla with a power wheelchair so she can live more independently and get to class on her own. She hopes to study for and pursue a career in the medical field. Congrats Lyla!
