Handicapped Development Center
Supporting People With Disabilities At Work, Home And In The Community
At HDC’s workshop, people learn work skills and are provided with a place where they can experience the dignity of doing real work and the pride of earning a paycheck. They can also receive the support they need to find and maintain a job in the community.
HDC also supports people with disabilities in their homes. Whether they decide to live with their family, in their own apartment, in one of HDC’s group homes, or at HDC residential center, they are given assistance and support to learn the skills they need to be as independent as possible.
All people involved in HDC programs are given opportunities and assistance to participate and be contributing members of the community.
